Submission Guidelines Dusty Spark Publishing is currently accepting author queries. We are seeking to publish inspiring and innovative novels, short stories, and interdisciplinary textbooks that reflect values found outside of mainstream, popular American culture. Special attention will be given to submissions appropriate for classroom use. Queries should include author’s writing history, including awards or publications; knowledge of the subject; proposed length and format of the manuscript; intended audience; any educational goals for the project; and author contact information. Authors with proposals of interest to Dusty Spark Publishing will be contacted for manuscript review. Dusty Spark Publishing will not accept works in the public domain or previously published works, including works published only in electronic format or self-published. Unsolicited manuscripts will not be read or returned. Queries accepted via postal mail or email.
